Youth Programs

We expose teens to mentors who come from similar backgrounds as our participants, providing them hope that poverty and/or other difficult life circumstances does not have to define their life.   This experience results with our participants gaining a sense of belonging and leads them to become independent contributors to their community.

As with our children's programs, we offer youth access to:

• Supervision
• Homework Help
• Tutoring
• Access to school supplies
• A Nutritious Snack
• A Chance to unwind and explore their creativity
• Arts and Crafts
• Encouragement and structure
• Access to our Computer Lab
• Transportation to school where no other source of transportation exists
• Cultural Embracing and Awareness Events

We offer Needs Assessments to determine the needs of youth who are in need rehabilitation.  Although the majority of our youth needing these services are referred to us by the Department of Juvenile Justice or School Officials, we understand that parents need access to recourse and a supportive system focused on getting their child the help they need.
